Not sure if you remember me, but I was posting about 2 weeks ago about Win98/XP networking problems. We couldnt get the computers to see each other. Well, all of a sudden, w/o us doing anything else to them b/c we were fed up, they've somehow fixed themselves. We're now able to see both computers in the Network Neighborhood. Like I said ... we've done nothing since I posted last on 3-17.
So yay!! It's fixed! Not sure how ... but it is! Thanks so much for attempting to help us :=)

Sounds like you were victim of slow net crawl and browse master election.

Sometimes computers take a long time to elect a browse master so that net crawl works (that is what populates my network places)
