ads1 pop-up removal

Hi all. I have been attacked by the "ads1.revenue.net" popup among others. Of course they come up even when you are not on the net. I have some knowledge on how to remove things using ad-aware, spybot, etc. Never used "HijackThis successfully before. Safe tos ay I have tried running all the removal software I can find and it still somes up. Any help would be helpful. I am running XP SP2.

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

- Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem, boot into normal mode and make sure you follow the directions in the below link:
