After starting or rebooting computer almost every time i see advertising from IE appears even i use Mozilla Firefox. During browsing web sites it appears randomly. Also i keep hearing "congratulations, you've been selected for a free Nintendo wii" or something like that. I ran all recommended scans from your forum : superantispyware, Spybot search and destroy, Malwarebytes' and Anti-Malware, ComboFix and the last MGtools.exe. It didn't fix the problems. Attaching my scans hope I'll do it right. The problems started about 6 months ago together with key logger or so : helper.dll and helper.sig. Did recovery on hard disk, it remove the helper problem, but got back advertising from IE http//adserving.cpxinteractive.com and another site what i exactly don't remember. :cry

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

According to your logs, you ran MGtools before running SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes and CombFix. MGtools is supposed to be run last. You will need to run it again now; however first do the below:

You need to uninstall the below adware and bundler of malware:
    Blubster 3.0.7
    Blubster Toolbar

Now rerun MGtools and attach a the new MGlogs.zip file.

Is your copy of Spyware Doctor a paid version or is it a free trial?
    • Does it include an antivirus program?
    • Does it include a firewall?
Why do you have TeamViewer running?

I uninstall Blubster and Tool bar Blubster and I reran all cleaning programs as follow SuperAntispaware, SpyBot Search and destroy, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, ComboFix and Getlogs.bat (MGTools). Between ComboFix and Getlogs.bat was a pause, cause had to go to work. Computer was turned off for the time. Yes Spyware doctor is a paid version, doesn't include firewall. I had only windows firewall, but I dowloaded Armor on line firewall after your recomendation and uninstall it for time to run Cleaning programs. Sorry about the TeamViwer. Can I toggle system restore now? Thank you so much for your help. ;)

Okay but I also asked if it included an anvtivirus. If it does not have an antivirus then you are running with no antivirus protection which is a very bad idea.

    Your logs are clean otherwise.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no protection. They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /u
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /u, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
      • Delete the C:\combofix folder from combofix (if it exists)
    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    6. You can delete the C:\MGtools folder and the C:\MGtools.exe file. You can also delete the C:\MGlogs.zip
    7. If you are running Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning procedures in step 3 the READ ME for your Window version and see the instructions to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    8. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
