    Hiya guys ive run into at kindda tricky problem here. I installed bsplayer and would you know it, it came with a adware! Its called Advantage and it keeps popping up ads whenever IE/firefox is up and running. Does anyone know how i can get rid of it?

    Hi

    I would uninstall that mediaplayer and also while in Add/Remove look for MediaAdVantage and uninstall that, unless you go and pay for the pro version of this software, the free version does not work without these ads.


    Then run the below to double check you have no other malwares on your PC... I would at the stage when running CCleaner to also run its Registry cleaner to remove any remaining registry keys from the above bsplayer and its AdVantage component.

    Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.[/B]
