ADVENT 7036 Laptop Win7

    Just installed Win 7 on this ADVENT 7036 Laptop also upgraded memory to 2GB and installed 150 GB harddrive looked OK but CPU fan going berserk and running 100% all time and advice would help .

    You can download the sysinternals tool from microsoft.com process explorer to see what is eating up processor time. Also, what does core temp show? You can download coretemp from http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/ and click on the "More Downloads" under the actual download (the first will download garbage, go below for the more downloads link). Process explorer can be found at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653
