advent 7108 cannot connect internet

    hi all, im hoping some1 can help me or point me in the right direction please, hav a laptop advent 7108, recently formatted hard drive wiped out my drivers, downloaded n installed network adapter, i found my router and connected however i cant connect to internet, is it the settings i need to configure? any help would be much appreciated, thanks
