I recently opened a web hosting company that provides shared hosting and VPS. The only problem is I am a n00b when it comes to advertising.

Any other web host owners with advertising advice?

I've heard to start small and dynamically increase based on traffic.

    AdWords + Facebook + Microsoft/Yahoo = starting small

Then, go for larger advertising companies, and invest how much you think you will be able to handle.

If you can handle the traffic that $10,000 in advertising will produce, then go for $12,000, etc.
