Advice please.

I need to replace an 8 mb nividia tn2t.card.
Have never done it before.
My son plays tribes and that would be about the hardest thing for the new card to do.
What can I put in the box for the cheapest price??
I want to install without having to change anything.

www.newegg.com They have great prices for a lot of video cards. Compusa (www.compusa) also has a ton of good prices. I got my Geforce Asylum 256DDR 8x video card there for $100. It also depends on what slot you have. There is PCI and AGP. Most computers have both but some (like mine) only has the PCI slots.

around $50

 

For that price you can like a good 64mb video card.
