Advise needed!

    Thanks in advance guys!!! A friend brough me this computer that he tried to assemble by himself and I guess he had this problem, I guess He took the HHD from another computer and when I install the OS (WIN98SE) setup tells me that there is a "compresed volumen" that is recomended to eliminate and disable the cache feature; I did the last thing, but How I eliminate the "compresed Volume" if I erased the partition and re-formated the HHD? :)
