AdWare Removal Question

I just ran a system scan thru Norton and came up with two Adware threats. The problem is the location of the files...they are not there.
C:\RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-2000478354-2025429265-839522115-1004\Dc7.htm and
The compressed file ISTactivex.dll within C:\RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-2000478354-2025429265-839522115-1004\Dc6.cab
I have disabled the hide folders feature and dumped my recycle bin, but they are still showing up on the system scan, but I can't find them otherwise.
Any ideas how to get rid of these? Thanks!

P.S.-I've run the symantec removal program for the ISTactiveX.dll and the program is unable to find it as well. And attempting to delete the file through Norton virus scan always fails.

 

If you have hidden folders enabled go to C:\ and you should see a slightly transparent folder named "RECYCLER" click on that then on the recycling bin icon..are there any hidden files in there? If so, delete them. This is assuming you were unable to locate the "RECYCLER" folder.

If you did find the folder but can find nothing in the contents then someone else will have to step in and help you.

 

That's just it, I have the hidden files showing, and in the C:\recycler\ I have two dim pictures of a recycle bin, one named S-1-5-21-2000478354-2025429265-839522115-1004 and one named S-1-5-21-2000478354-2025429265-839522115-1003
Both 'bins' are empty when opening them but NAV says the files are supposedly in the ......-1004 folder.
