Adware ? ?

I've picked up a bug that I can't get rid of. The problem...Windows keep poping up displaying advertising for a variety of company's. My pop-up blocker is nailing a few, but I have some rather persistant ones that won't go away. To date, I've used Ad-aware, Spybot, McAfee, and Multi-Virus Cleaner. Nothing seems to be able to stop this very annoying situation. Is there something that I can download to end this problem ? Would greatly appreciate some help. Thanks...Bob.
