I recently recovered from a driver BSOD (a bad_pool BSOD). I found out that a driver used by IOBit SmartDefrag was causing it. I uninstalled SmartDefrag in safe mode and was able to boot up again.

Now, my computer is running very slowly, occasionally stuttering, and just running uncharacteristically slow.

    I have tried:
Cleaning out the computer, its dust-free.
Sweeping for malware, on multiple scanners in safe mode, its virus free.
Cleaning registry and HD with CCleaner
    Running chkdsk

    Any help would be appreciated!
After the above tasks, it's running a bit faster than it did previously but the freezing/stuttering and slow running is driving me mad.
