I apologize ahead of time if this is posted in the wrong section. I am new here and hope this is correct.

Okay so I have no idea what is going on here...

Bottom line is i used to use AVG... recently updated to Avira anti virus. Well yesterday I scanned my computer with superantispam, ran ccCleaner, ran Hijackthis and my log showed no problems (usually do this once a week)... Then ran Avira Anti-virus for the first time and it caught a couple things so I restarted.

Now I get 7 warnings at a time (from antivir guard) right at start up. And they continue to pop back up which denys me any chance of opening up other programs

    6 are usually c:\windows\system32\tafivefi.dll TR - Agent.apgs Trojan
    1 is c:\windows\system32\bihofiye.dll TR - Agent.apgs2 Trojan

I googled both of these dll files and neither bring up ANY results... Also when i click on the virus for more information through avira, it shows no info.

I can't open up any programs at all.

What to do? Thanks ahead of time!

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Very likely in those file names being random characters and not found on the internet that they are rouge files and malware related so see how much of the below guide you can complete.

Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
    Notes:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run theREAD & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can running steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.

plus a guide on how to attach the logs HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post
