I just returned from vacation and found that my computer has been infected by this trojan horse. Some of my programs will no longer load, and those that do require that I click "ok" multiple times on the following message: This application has failed to start because msmtfc.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. Of course, there is no such thing as msmtfc.dll. AVG found and quarantined the trojan during it's regular nightly scan of my system in the wee hours of the morning, but apparently not until the damage was done. I found information about dealing with this problem on this web site, downloaded the suggested programs and followed the instructions to the letter. Unfortunately, I still have the problem. I have copies of the files generated during the "fix" (ComboFix.txt and MGlogs.zip), but I have no idea who to send them too to obtain additional help. I am running Windows XP Professional on a Dell XPS400 machine with a mirrored raid system. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
