Ainsworth Hot Springs

We're renting a house for a weekend in October at a place called Ainsworth, just up the road from where BCGray lives, on Kootenay Lake. We're part of four couples renting the five bedroom. $575 for the weekend. What a deal!

Hey sibeer thats just ten miles away from me, I am at Balfour, the ferry landing site on Kootenay Lake, great to see you can come and visit the great side of the Kootenays. Just one question though I hope you bring your passport, for we in the good Kootenays are kinda particular about who we let in you know, but I will tell the boys on the ferry to let you across. All kidding aside I wish I would be there then, for we could have had a beer in the Ainsworth Hot Springs Hotel, great view of the lake from their restaurant/Bar. Know the house too, its on the lower Ainsworth road, right on the lake, will have to call in some favours but may be able to get you special permission to fish in our glorious Lake, but it will cost you big time. Hey have a great time, if I can get back in time beers on me.

 

Weekend of Oct.21, and hey, I was over in Balfour (my buddy lives there) and Kaslo in August. I had no trouble at the ferry, and I even told them I was from the bad Kootenays.

 

See what happens when the "Boss" is away, going to have to have a "Keel Hauling Party" this week-end. May be down there then, will give you a PM later, if I can, right now I am in "Prince"/Prince George yea I know groan, fishings great though.
