alc662 drivers in winxp sp2

I'm tired of trying but what the heck on more time. I hvae a Foxconn A7VMX-K MB with 2 gigs of ram and winxp sp2. I've unistalled KB888111 per the instructions here posted all over the place. I've tried the steps but nothing works.

Now my PC finds new hardware and says it is a PCI Device under the system dropdown in the device manager. Is this the sound card? Any last advice before I go buy a sound card.:cry:cry:cry

 

Fixed. I powered down instead of restarting and it worked.
