And dammit, if you wrote in LiveJournal more you'd be just like everyone else at least to the public eye. Don't want that do we. "KILL NORMALITY BEFORE IT KILLS YOU!!"

 

I don't discriminate against normality, I kill everyone who annoys me equally in varying degrees of ick-ily.

 

Weird is Wonderful

Normality bores me oftentimes. Reality bores me oftentimes.

My friend said to me today:
"I've got so fed up of reality I started reading a novel the other day"
"Oh yes? I've got so fed up of reality I started WRITING a novel the other day. Beat that!"
"Whoa, you must be really fed up..."

 

see, i think anti-normality is the new passe, and everyone is so busy damning the machine, that the text book definition of normal is now the bizarre, and noone really can define normal anymore except to say the hate it.

but thats just me.

 

Well, as far as I'm concerned, normality is the popular trends of socity. The "accepted" way of life. i.e. born, go to school, get a job, retire, die. BORING. Perhaps most financially easy, but heck, I don't like that idea.

But thinking about it, that would mean its a circular definition. Ahh, screw it, I've confused myself again!

 

I HAVE THOUGHT THIS WAY FOR A LONG TIME, it is time to start living not working my entire life away so i can sit around and wait to die when i retire...........

ok so i feel stupid asking this, but i have never really researched blogs or blogging. so that site of yours goldfish is only for blogging? so you have a server and domain just for blogging? thats tight if you do. also you have more than one server? thats tight too.

Yes, I've got a cluster of 2 servers running all my websites (It also runs www.totalkrap.tk, www.hypostasis.co.uk, www.draw.co.uk as well as my blog). Gives me a total resource of about 2Ghz and 1GB ram. Both parts of the cluster are folding

That site there is just for blogging: I designed it from scratch (which is why it doesn't look the same as other WordPress websites).

 

so is that a real server or one made from some old desktops?

Err, well, what do you mean by a "real server"? They are both x86 if thats what you mean, yes, and hes they have been used as desktops previously.

I'm running Windows 2003 server on them, using cluster management to spread load.

It's running off IIS 6.0, with PHP and MySQL installed too. Pretty much all I need to run decent website with

Oh yes and in the new year we will hopefully be moving it to a server farm to give them a nice combined bandwidth of 20MBit
