I had a bunch of malware, I think from a false acrobat reader update. Cleared it (I think), and last step was to update windows. Downloaded the latest MSRT which said that ndis.sys was corrupted. Rather foolishly I allowed it to clear this, which resulted in ndis.sys in the system32/drivers folder and in the dllcache folder to be renamed as scrap objects. Since then all my network adaptors have had a big exclamtation mark next to them. I can't update them. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling them but to no avail.

I tried copying ndis.sys from the i386 folder but this just crashes my computer. I posted this first under malware (http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?p=1480609#post1480609) but after I ran all their anti-malware programs and everything seems clear they redirected me here.

    Anyone got an ideas?
