Also Having Problems with spywarewarning2.mht

I'm having some of the same problems as previously mentioned by another member with the same trojan but I'm running win2k.

(Win2k on my 2002 laptop is from my CD burner slowly dying..I need a whole new system but thats another story.)

In safe mode w/networking and when I'm in normal mode I attempt to go to the add remove programs tool and all I get is a white screen. I've let it sit for up to half an hour and I get nothing. I'm really about ready to go office space on this thing

My other concern is that I'm having a heck of a time trying to download any type of hardware to try to rid my system of this mess. Earlier this AM I was viewing the previous thread and my virus soon either closed the page I was viewing or changed it to one of their virus popups..

ugh.

I read the read me...as I have stated before, everytime I try to go to the add/remove programs part it will not let me do anything. The page that pulls up never loads and is just a white square.
