Alterative to ADAWARE SE

    I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations to replace AdAware SE.

    I went to AdAware 2007 with no luck at all then reinstalled SE only to have it never find anything and regardless of what I do it will not load the new defs. I finally got it to be able to use the updates that are posted but it still never found anything and now it is back to saying that the defs are corrupted.

    It was a free product but a GREAT product. In my opinion it no longer exists so...does anyone have any recommendations for a replacement?

    Ad-Aware is quite ineffective against the current type of malware around these days and we really don't use it anymore. Try what we have list in the below:
