Napster is annoying and their library is limited.

I'd like to hear what other people have used to purchase tracks, and who are the safe ones without a lot of ad-ware.

Hmm, I haven't tried it with Opera. I can go there with IE or Firefox; I was using Firefox when I viewed it before posting here. And, I just tried it with Chrome and it worked.

I have Opera on another computer which I'm not using at the moment. I'll try it later and let you know how it goes.

Part of the content on the page requires Flash Player, but new installations of Opera already have Flash, don't they?

dr.moriarty, thanks for that info on browsers supported by walmart.

I just thought of another music source to add to the collection here. It's the iTunes store from Apple. To download music from iTunes, the first step is to download and install the iTunes application. It can be downloaded from http://www.apple.com/itunes/affiliates/download/. To see their music selection, go to http://itunes.apple.com/us/browse/#.

Unless it has changed in the past few years, when you add your music to iTunes' library, it will reorganize them with its own tagging system. My non-iPod did not understand the tags, and 16GB of music became unusable. :( Something to watch out for. Obviously if you have an iPod this is a non-issue.
