Alternatives to Refresh force

Hi all

I recently purchased a new Graphics card ATI 4870. Before that i used 8800gtx.

My main resolution for gaming is 1600x1200 65Hz on a Samsung syncmaster 795mb CRT screen.

However, after getting the ATI card, and using the latest two driver sets 8.7 and 8.8. im stuck at 60Hz.
With nvidia i usually used dxdiag.exe to override refresh rate at 65hz and it always worked.

But now i can't get the override to work. I also tried ATI driver control panel and still ony 60. I used refresh force from this site and i just loose the resolution when trying to add 1600x1200 65hz.

The only thing that worked was the ATI Refresh Rate Fixer 0.9.9.7 Beta, but it only works for old games and brakes new ones

if anyone knows of any good alternative possible solution, please point me in the right direction. for the past 3 days this has been bugging me a lot.:confused
