Altnet and a few others...

Win XP, SP2

Followed all of the steps is the READ ME FIRST stickies.

Spybot, AdAware and MS keep finding Altnet, but none can remove it.

Panda and BD online scans found some others, logs are attached (sorry, forgot to save the BD log as a .txt)

Also, there are a few peculiar icons on the desktop- "Online Security Guide", the icon is the blue MS sheild with an exclamation point. It appears to be a link to www.securitylist.net. It may be legit, I've just never seen it before. Also there is another similar icon that says Security Troubleshooting that is a link to www.testsecurityonline.com.

I converted it to .txt and attached it.

What do you think about those desktop-icon web links?

I'm running Spysweeper now, I'll let you know how it goes.

Spysweeper seems to have gotten rid of Altnet. It is no longer detected by Spybot, AdAware or MS.
