Am I being Ddosed?

Hey everyone, I've been frustrated with my connection lately and I'm hoping someone here can help me out.

For about a week now my connection has been terrible.I get frequent lag spikes and when I look at my sent/receive packets, I have abnormally high received.

I'm not sure what's going on, I've tried using different routers, rebooted my modem and everything. Would really appreciate someone shedding some light on this issue, thanks.

 

I doubt it.

That is only 819MB over 5 hours.

I get more than that in half that time.

Have you checked it in Safe Mode w/ Networking? Are you sure it isn't your provider at fault?

I haven't tried Safe Mode w/ Networking but the issue is effecting the rest of my family that is connected to the router so it seems as if it would be my ISP but they swear up and down that it's not.

 

The next time you get a lag spike, run a traceroute to somewhere that you have trouble getting to and post it here.

 

If you are getting lag spikes from a game server, it is most likely a heavily loaded server with a lot of traffic, or on a shared server as a virtual machine, with other Virtual machine traffic bogging down that unit.

Without you posting some Trace Routes from various times of day, to the IP in question that you have problems with, there is no way of knowing what is going on.

As for that screen shot of your Network connection, that would be total received & sent, since the last time that you did a reset on the connection.
