I had a nightmare last night!

At least it felt like a nightmare!

I dreamt that windows messenger kept coming back to my computer no matter how many times I uninstalled it!

Do I need a break from my computer?????

I really can't comment on sanity, it's one of those taboo subjects in my household - the dark place wenever speak of...

The sound for that insanity test has now been made into a ringtone in the UK and is being advertised on most of the MTV channels. They call it crazy frog or something!!!

Don't worry Solange, I've had many nightmares about computers, I think the most recent one was about NFS Underground 2 and the cars from the traffic turned against me - it was scarey!!!!

Hehe. If our sanity was judged solely on our nightmares, we'd likely all be judged certifiable. ;)

not me, my nightmares are mundane, it's my reality that's crazy :p

Solange, how did your cat fare from New Year's? I don't know if this would be considered a nightmare, but I used to dream- nightly- that I was being electrocuted (in the chair), and was actually enjoying the shock?!? ANyone out there a dream analyst? (I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy it!)

I've had countless nightmares like that, or dreams at least. When I first got a computer and it didn't have the internet and all I did was play solitaire and stuff, I had dreams I was playing a game of solitaire. I've also had dreams that I was coding projects and stuff.

She is fine, thanks! We went to bed later when she was completely calm, and she slept on my arm, purring all night! :)

That nightmare sounds absolutely horrible! There is probably nothing that I'm so afraid of as getting an electric shock, even the smalles one scares me so much and leaves me shaking afterwards (some are afraid of rats or snakes or spiders or hights, for me it's electricity...) so I would probably not wake up from a dream like that, I would "die of shock"! ;)

Guessing my dream came because I've had my dad's 2 computers, and my nephews computer, and my own lined up in front of me for complete reinstall over Christmas..... I had to say no to my nephew, I kept putting mine to last, but today I finally had time to do it! There is nothing like the feeling of a fresh installed system! :)

I had the same result from playing solitaire. But the strangest thing I've had happen was when I was learning to install windows I also learned how to change hard drives, I practiced it over and over for about a week, anyway I kept waking up thinking I was hearing the ticking of the hard drive.
But maybe your dream was a premonition, you better check, lol!

For me solitair hasn't been so bad, but I remember the days of the old Mac Plus when I played Tetris for hours and went to bed watching small pieces fall and I had to put them right...

Nowadays it is more of a problem if I play games like Tomb Raider too late at night... If I do, I jumt ledges and push crates for the rest of the night. I had to stop playing TR later than 7 on worknights because of that...

I've found that if I do too much of anything it ends up keeping me awake and then continues into my dreams....

...the latest? Oh man...for Christmas I got Dance Dance Revolution Extreme for PS2 and that's really all I've been doing when I'm not on here because I'm off work till Monday. So my dreams this last week have been me playing all the steps in DDR on a friggin' computer keyboard. I spell out the words I'm thinking by typing the letters with my feet while dancing.

Seriously...I think it's time to go back to work...

I used to do that when I first discovered chat rooms and was constantly typing. Everytime I had a conversation with someone in RL, in my head I was busy typing each word on the keyboard.

    Sad huh
