Am I Infected With Malware??

Hello,

Problem started yesterday. Not sure what happened, or what may have been accidentally downloaded.

I've followed you requirements and downloaded all the software but I am unable to install Malwarebytes. When I attempt I get the following message:

CoCreateInstance failed; code 0x80040154 class not registered.

Please find some log files attached. TDSSKiller came up blank. Malwarebytes will not install. ad I will attempt to attach the other logs.
Please, I am not computer savvy, so please take that under consideration if I mess something up. Thanks.

What issues are you having?

Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.

Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista or Seven, right-mouse click it and select Run as Administrator.

The tool will open and start scanning your system.

Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.

On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.

Attach JRT.txt to your next message.

Hello and thanks for the reply.

First issue is I've lost the ability to open files, folders, or programs using the left mouse button. I can still open items but now must use the right button and select the 'open' command.

Second, I cannot run Malwarebytes software. Not sure why, as I have used this in the past. I did an uninstall and tried to reinstall it but every time I try to reinstall I get the message CoCreateInstance failed; Code 0x80040154 Class Not Registered.

I also have been have been recieving Run time error '372' failed to load 'webbrowser' from frame leframe.dll Your version of leframe.dll may be outdated. I can't remember right now what I was doing when I received this notice.

Also, when I reboot the computer I can no longer access the the utility to boot into 'safe mode' F8 key. I also seem to have no way the modify the boot start up if I would like to change it from C drive to the CD drive.

Again, this computer has been running flawlessly until 2 days ago.

I was not finding any malware in your logs. I suggest you post in the software forum for additional assistance.

Since you are not having any malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:

We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. You can uninstall RogueKiller and HitManPro.

Go back to step 4 of the READ ME and renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it.

Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.

If running Vista or Win 7, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.

Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.

Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders
related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
