    I hate their blogs. If i wanted to read a blog, I'd look it up. Instead they force feed it to you and stick on top of your page when you sign in.

    BM...I have never ever had bad customer service from them. What happened to you?

    I was more remarking about how Amazon is trying to patent a process where they "determine in software" the likelihood of you ordering again and give you a downward sliding amount of service depending on what that software returns.

    I have had things from "Amazon" take months to ship before. That gets really annoying in the extreme. I say it was "Amazon" since you don't really know if it is really Amazon or one of their satellite stores.

    I didn't even know they were targeting anyone.

    Thinking I won't have to worry about that since it's one of my addictions. :D

    They tell you who you're buying from if it's not them, btw. I always check and usually won't buy if it's not directly from Amazon since they offer the free shipping.

    I've always had good service from Amazon.com, at least I can't remember a bad occurence. I've bought lots of different things, mainly books, DVD's and CD's.

    They have always shipped on their promised shipping date as some items were not ex-stock. Postal service to Australia has been good.

    My latest book order has had the publication date put back more than once and it not now due to be published until March 2008 (originally Dec 2007).

    That is not Amazon's fault as they cannot control when the Author will finish the manuscript, or maybe MS are still releasing updates and the Author is evaluating and trying to include.

    Hope he manages to get Vista SP 1 official release included, but I doubt it. :cry

    Book, if anyone is interested, is Windows Vista Annoyances for Geeks by David A. Karp. Link try http://isbn.nu/9780596527624

    Some retailers say that it is available but I don't believe them. It is not listed on Amazon.com just now. :cry

    The XP version is my XP "Bible" and well dogeared.

    I ordered the Vista version as soon as it was announced evn though I still dont have Vista as yet. Bazza
