AMD 3700 & AMD 3800

Looking at options and I see that the 3700 has a 1 meg cache and only comes in the 754 socket. The 3800 only has a 512 cache but only comes in the 939 socket. As far as a future upgrade the 939 is the only choice but I doubt I'll ever upgrade.
So anybody know where I can see any bench marks on the high end AMD's or know anything relevant about the two above mentioned chips or the boards they come with?

 

These are using a nvidia6800 they wont be as evident with a lower end gfx card but give you a good idea of performance,if you can't be bothered reading the article,scan to bottom of page and check out performance especially dx9.0

P.S.futurepoof was invented by intel and amd there is no such thing,they price the stuff at what you'll pay,then when you wont pay it,change the socket discontinue the line and trick you into thinking you had to spend extra money and upgrade.The only way is to invent a time machine and see what is next,but mine is broken and there are no parts to fix it the socket is no longer supported!LOL

 

Sorry posted too soon,I realize you might not be upgrading on that socket but every socket upgrade has a performance increase due to new chipsets.

 

Thanks Rikky out of the two the 3800 is by far the better chip even with the smaller cache. I learned alot from those links, now if I could just remember it.
