An idea for MG front page

Can I suggest to the powers that me, on MG, that they move the Google/MG search box on the left hand side of the MG front page, from below the Files index to ABOVE it.

I think lots of people fail to scroll down far enough to spot the Search box.

By putting it above the Files index you would highlight the Search facility but not obscuring the Files index.

You can still see the Files index and can scoll down on Files if you have to.

I know I would use it more than I currently do as it would stand out on the front page.

What do y'all think? Did you know it was there? How often do you use it? Bazza

 

I didn't know it was there either....but then again I don't enter MG through the homepage and I already have a googlebar

 

Personally I think its fine where it is with the other search box

 

Visitors, not members, probably enter through www.majorgeeks.com, not their favourites.

This search box works better for me when I am searching fro programs.

Google toolbox doesn't work on my PC. Bazza
