    Argh, such a bad day, and to top if off, I took my phone out of my pocket to give my mum a text letting her know when I'd be back and to my great surprise, the phone's pixels had gone all strange!!!

    So when I got in about half hour ago I called Orange (my network provider) and they said that apparently I have no insurance and I have to pay full rate for a replacement handset. This is complete $h1t considering I got it end of last year brand new from Orange shop. Argh in such a bad mood and have the first night of 4 shows tonight too!!! :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    I would goto Orange shop you bought it from and see Mr/Miss manager?

    as for the show I was going to say the customary "break a leg" but under the circumstances I dont think thats a wise phrase so "good luck" :)

    Yeah. Just take the phone back to the Orange shop and with luck they'll understand consumer law better than the dimwits you spoke to earlier and replace it for you.;)

    One would assume it has a warranty.

    Problem is, most staff don't know the law. I'd ring their head office.


    I'm about to take back two crappy games I bought, and I can't wait for the kid behind the counter to tell me they don't refund, even though both are faulty.

    I hope it has a warranty, mum and I were looking over it last night and we have all the receipts still.
    Took a picture of it just now, wonder if any of you guys can make anything out?

    Not really McA, just a blue-ish blurr at the top, and if thats all you get as Rikky said read the sale of goods act and its on your side, at minimum you have a 12mth warrantee and should at least get a replacement.

    McA - I had similar problems with Orange when my MPX200 went down after 3-4 months of having it. I took it back to the shop, explained, and they replaced it without all this "sending it back to be fixed" crap.

    Good luck with getting it sorted.

    If you go to the orange shop you can also read other people's bills if you want to. Such is the great security on privacy they have....

  12. Have you maybe tried taking the battery out? I know sometimes mine goes goofy and either a good old restart or i reseat the battery and sim card and all is well!
