Annoying error boxes and then laptop just stops working!

Whenever I log on to my laptop the same error box pops up about 100 times but each time regarding a different software on my computer for example the one that I'm reading on the screen now says "C:\Windows\system32\fdBth32.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try installing the programme again using the original installation media or contact you system admin or software vendor for support" then after all these messages have popped up my laptop just fails on me. It goes incredibly slow and won't load any thing : /. I have found however that it works absolutely fine in safe mode however I hate using safe mode..... Please help me someone

Sorry to have to hit you with a lot of questions, but if you can answer these we can help you better:

1. What make and model is the laptop and how old is it?

2. What version of windows are you running and when was the last update?

3. What security (antivirus, firewall, anti-malware, anti-spam etc) software are you running, when was this last updated, and when was the last scan (if applicable)?

1. It's a toshiba Satellite L450-136 and it's about 6 months old

2.I use windows 7 and I'm not sure when the last update was : /

3. I use norton 360 which was updated a few months ago and the last scan I ran before my computer started messing up just over a month ago and it turned nothing up
