Annoying message pre windows logon screen

Hi to all

I have this ibm r51 laptop that is running xp.
There is an annoying message screen that pops up before windows logon screen. It waits for you to read the message and then you have to move your mouse to the ok button and press ok before it allows you to proceed with the windows boot procedure.

If you don't press ok it sits there and does not start windows.

The machine belongs to the Education department and the message has been put on by some computer geek.

If anyone can suggest how I can get rid of this message and allow windows to simply boot up.

The other option I have is to wipe the disk and re install windows. This is not preferred as I have not been supplied with all of the drivers for the machine and it takes forever getting them from the ibm site
I would prefer a solution as to how to get rid of this annoying message.

The message is not machine dependant but has been placed somewhere on the hard disk and goes here first then boots to windows.


Any help or suggestions would be greately appreciated.
