Anonymous Proxies

Does anybody know of a reliable anonymous proxy that really works ? I tried using one off the public lists, but they don't work when I try an anonyminity test.

It's a bit tricky to set up, but it's very good for anonymity. Since you're not using just one proxy but a number in sequence, and your exit node will change every few minutes. Since the exit node may be any number of other tor clients on the internet there is no way for anyone to know where you're coming from.

I did start to use TOR as above but then Firefox kept crashing after a while. I gave it up as I just didn't have time. All I want is a URL to enter into the options settings in Firefox. As for paying for anything - no thanks - even if it's truly wonderful
