another adobe question

    i think im up to date but whats the latest adobe reader update when i get the latest update am i suppost to remove the old updates or just leave them

    Good question, I use Acrobat Pro and it doesnt leave all the updates in Add/Remove.. but I would imagine if you wanted to only have the latest version you could uninstall all of them and only have the latest version?

    at worst if you un-install all of Acrobat Reader, you just need to get the latest version.. to be upto date!

    Wonder if thats a feature?

    Windows Installer versions since SP2 are neat in that they allow you to remove layers of patches as they are installed, not the whole ball of string. It could be thats by design, so, IMO, I'd leave it.


    Removing an older patch could break the newer patch, in that case.

    so i should just leave them

    i asked this question on my java post too and i was told to remove the old updates and leave the new one

    but im guessing it doesnt work that way for the adobe updates right

    Well java updates aren't updates. They are entirely separate applications. I'm guesing its so developers can test their apps with a variety of versions.
