OS windows xp,sp3. home pc, store a few documents and surf the net are my primary uses. my question is about internet security and malware prevention [probably one in the same] currently have CA that is provided free by my ISP. is AVG a better choice, do I need more. I respect your advice as I haven't been steered wrong on this site yet.
    thanks Jim

    Hi Jim,

Quick Reply here, for now, from me, as I am on the fly, so hopefully this might get you started --->>> http://www.av-comparatives.org/

I believe more folks than not would tell you that AVG is "better" than CA, BUT (and this is my big BUTT), it really is all relative...and the bottom line really is this:

Whatever it is, whatever we (you) choose, it simply "MUST" work for our (for your) machine(s), and it "MUST" work for us (for you, sir).

I should be able to return in fairly short order . . .

    Best,
    glenn . . .
