Thanks to Astroman, in an earlier post, for this heads up.

Lots of other interesting stuff for speeding up ADSL, cable and dialup.

TCP Optimizer.exe didn't show up on search of MG so I have listed the home site address. Bazza

Got it http://majorgeeks.com/download2104.html

Thought it would be wierd not to have one of speed guides tools. Looks like the version was updated recently though, so put it on the front page...

Thanks!

Cp, type in 3 searches, one at a time.
TCP,
TCPO,
TCP O, (space in between P and O)
and you get different results. You still dont get a mention of

TCP/IP Optimizer 1.01 [ 448 Kb | Freeware | Win All]
Optimize Dialup, DSL and Cable all from one interface.

That is one to which you refer, I assume.

Yeah - the reason you didnt see it is they changed the name from "tcp/ip" to just "tcp", so searching "tcp o" wouldnt find it. The weird thing is I cant get it to relist in the search index now.

Working on it.

CP, Searching on TCP alone still doesn't find TCP/IP, as at right now. TCP/IP and tcp/ip searches don't find it either. Bazza

You still have it listed on the front page as TCP/IP... Baz

As I said in another thread:

Type in "cwshredder" --> no hits. Type in "deep burner" and DeepBurner is not a hit. "Cpu burn in" and "cd burn" have the same results list. Search needs to search the app title and a list of keywords and that's it. I've occassionally done searches and gotten 3 or 4 pages of hits... unorganized hits.

I've taken to following Goldfish's advice and using Google to search Major Geeks. But I doubt that other users would be so tenacious.
