Help! HijackThis file attatched. Updated the lot, run it all, etc etc....keep getting almost 'legitimate' pop-ups appearing, Apple, Norwich Union Insurance, Sony, the lot, not even any interesting porn or cheap viagra, most annoying.

Anybody help a blatent leech get rid of my spys please?

No you have not! You did not read and follow the sticky threads.

Please follow the steps below:

- Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

Also since you seem to have a Look 2 Me infection you should use SpySweeper as follows:

- Download, install and update Spy Sweeper
- Run it once while you are in normal boot mode (save the log).
- Then boot in safe mode from and run SpySweeper one more time (and save a second log).

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log (you have it installed improperly):

Ok, well I thought I had..... :S

I've done it all again, step by step, so here's my latest hijackthis file.

Still getting the same old pop-ups.

You still have not completed all of steps in the READ ME, you have not ran the online scans nor did you run SpySweeper as requested by Chaslang.

In order to remove this infection you MUST follow the steps we give to you.

Now go back and complete every step in the READ ME, then download, install, update and run Spy Sweeper as previously requested.

After you have completed ALL of that then attach a fresh HJT log. Do NOT attach another HJT log until you have completed those steps!

But I have dammit I have! Sorry to waste your time if I am doing so, but how can you be so sure I haven't done all the steps? I'm pretty sure I didn't just imagine doing them!

No, you haven't; otherwise we'd see the appropriate lines in the HiJackThis log.
