Another Trojan.Patchep!inf Problem

Well to cut to the chase, I stupidly opened a exe I wasn't sure about. I know I know, but either way here I am. So I have done all the pre-work outlined in the great walk through http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=181425&goto=nextnewest and have collected all the log files. I will say that it appears there were several issues besides this particular one. Please let me know what's next and just want to say thank you to everyone here who take the time to help less knowledgeable peers for the sake of helping. That's not often found.

You have some major system file corruptions. What I want you to do first is to download and try to install SP3 on your system. If you are successful, then run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

Then attach the below logs:

* C:\MGlogs.zip

Sorry it's been so long but was on assignment, anyways I am not able to install SP3 for dome reason, it gets about 3/4 of the way through and fails.

Yes it has been a long time so I am not sure just where we stand at this point. I would suggest that you try doing a repair installation. After doing that, re-run the Read and Run First Instructions ( you will have to uninstall all the old scanning tools and download new copies as much has changed ) and attach new logs.
