   I have a friend who is "nibby" or shall I say "overly-concerned" about what is on my computer or in it, he/she is very good at downloading a program "PC Anywhere" and similiar types of programs. THEN, renaming their filenames to make the program look like it is supposed to be in the computer. Is there a program to stop someone from downloading a program so they won't be able to view your desktop from a remote location?

   I've moved your thread to software. Are you saying you have someone going onto your computer and downloading monitoring software on it? The way to stop them is not give them access. It's that simple.
   
   Barring that, password protect the Administrator Account.
