Anti-Spyware Software?

Question:

Could someone please recommend the top best rated Anti-Spyware to Purhcase. There seems to be conflicting reviews on which one is the best. I'm thinking about purchasing either Spyware Doctorf 3.2 or Pest Control, please advise. As of right now I'm using the free versions of Microsoft Anti-spyware & Ad-Adware SE Personnal which do not seem to clean up all infections on my computer. Since my son uses the MSN Messenger 7 I now get pop-up ads and I also automatically get Icons that appear on my desktop such as: Dating, casino's etc. along with a unwanted tool bar,also my home page gets changed to the Web Searcher when I launch my MSN Home page. I have Windows XP Service Pack 2 installed and I thought it was suppose to protect my computer from all pop up ads appearing so now I'm searching to find the best anti-spyware to purchase. Please help me with this. And or any suggestions as to how to get rid of my problem

The firewall and stuff that comes with microsoft i guess is garbage so you want to get somthing else. Also it sounds like you have a spyware problem. You should ask for help in the spyware specific area( http://forums.majorgeeks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=35 )
