I am looking for a free d/l of a antivirs protection other than avg.

OK, go to the bottom of this page (or any here in the forum) and click on Anti-Virus That will take you to the list... I hear Avira[?sp} is good, but I don't use that one myself... Check it out, and look for the FREE ones

Avira is outstanding. I have that on my XP computer, and Avast on the Vista PC. If you decide to get Avira, and the nag-screen starts driving you absolutely nuts, let me know. I have a guide to removing it laying around here somewhere.

 

I have Avg 9.0 installed and it's not let me down yet?

I am also curious to know what is wrong with avg as it's good anti virus program and no problems with updates.

I defo won't be getting rid of Avg in a long while.
