Antivir for MSN Messenger

Can anybody tell me which file from Antivir to install in MSN Messenger for virus scanning?????
I click on Browse and choose Antivir in Program Files and then I have few files to choose from however, I do not know which is the right one.

I use AVG Free edition, and then select the "avgscan" file from my AVG7 folder in Program Files. Click your name > Options > File Transfer > Select the scan using anti virus and then locate this file, providing you're using AVG.

 

According to this page AntiVir has a command-line scanner that ships seperately. You could use mcadam's method with the download above to scan every file you receive through MSN using AntiVir.

 

Thank you both for getting back to me. I will download command-line scanner from AntiVir and see how it works, and if I am not happy with it I will follow "mcadam" sugestion and switch to AVG.

I was once a big fan of AVG myself, but then I found that AntiVir beat AVG in almost every catagory according to the listings at www.av-comparatives.org

I favor AntiVir so I am staying with it. I configured Messenger > Options > File Transfer > Browse and picked avscan.exe as I think that is correct file, judging from mcadam's sugestion using avgscan.exe with AVG. I tried the command-line scanner as sugested as it sounded like a right thing to do , unfortunately is messed up whole antivirus installation. I uninstalled AntiVir and reinstalled it and all seems OK at this time.
