Antivirus/adware Question

    We have a computer that we got rid of interent on and jsut use it for typing and computer games. Does it need to have an antivirus on it and a adware program on it still? I am going to run it one last time. Just to mkae sure it gets stuff cleared before i delete it. I wanted to make sure we dont have to keep it first.

    1. Are you NEVER EVER going to connect to the internet?
    2. Are you never going to put floppy disks, CDs, USB drives, etc into it that may have been inserted and created on another PC?
    3. Are you NEVER EVER going to connect this PC to another PC via a network or thru a direct connection?
    4. Are you sure?
    5. Is your PC 100% clean right now? Note: it does not mean you are clean just because your antivirus does not detect anything. They miss things all the time which is why this forum exists.
    If you answer a definitive no to the first 3 questions and a definitive yes to the last 2, then you can probably get by without the protection.
