Antivirus Gold

hi

antivirus gold has got onto my computer and is taking it over

I have run clean up, adaware, spybot, AVG etc and it is still on. i am in absolute desperate need of help!!!!

Assuming your internet works, unlike some people who have the Antivirus Gold trojan, I recommend doing the following in safe mode (I.E. restart your computer and hit F8 at the start screen. and make sure you choose safe mode with networking).

First I recommend downloading a squared and scanning for and removing the malware on your computer

Finally, I've found AntiVir Personal Edition to be VERY useful at finding and destroying viruses/trojans and worms.

ALL of those programs are free and very useful. Furthermore if none of that helps, you can use the following link. It may not apply to the problems you're experiencing with the trojan, so use it at your own discretion.
