Antivirus setups don't work

    Hello,
    I've never had this problem before, so I have no idea what to do, even as first-aid, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I am not able to install any antivirus software.. The installer vanishes after a few seconds. It's like I have time to click "Next" one or two times, and it just vanishes abruptly. No error message... nothing.

    I have the same problem on my PC (this is my laptop). I just had Windows XP SP2 installed on it.

    Both machines are connected to the internet.

    Please help!

    I'm sorry, I posted before doing the "Read Me First" things...
    Also I'm not able to delete this thread, so if some moderator acn do it, it would be great

    Are you doing the instructions in the Read and Run First sticky? If you are then just attach the requested logs. MGTools.exe does not require and installer....and you should try doing the other scans in safe mode.
