Antivirus/spyware

What do you consider to be the best software for antivirus, spyware, security, ect that I should get for my new computer?

 

Here is a list of free recommended programs that you can choose from. I persoanlly like Zonealarm for firewall and avast for anti-virus.

From my personal experience, I use NOD32 for antivirus, ZoneAlarm for firewall and Adaware.

I have used Trend pcillion and found it useless. Similarly Nortons tends to take over everything, and it is a pain to remove.

Zonealarm works perfectly but you must remeber to disable the display of notification message or it will drive you nuts....never realised how many time "things" were trying to get into my computer.
