Antivirus XP 2008 msg=>VBS:malware-gen

I'm pretty new at this site and so far, I'm really looking forward to leanring more from this forum. My father opened an email from his work login and figured the school system has filters that this email would be fine. Well it has installed Antivirus XP 2008 on a Vista PC. I've read through some of what I need to do, but not exactly sure where to begin. I've tried downloading a removal kit, but it was RightProtected so I never got it on the jump drive to run on my dad's computer. We have a very important package to send off for work and the documentation is on His computer. It's sensitive material so I don't want to open anything until we get this WORM off. We need to get this in order to get our project under way... Please help...

Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.

Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.

Notes:

If you run into problems trying to run theREAD & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can running steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:

If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
