antivirus

    I have verizon security suite running. I just purchased a program called system mechanic and when I run that it shows that no antivirus is detected. Is there a way I can prove that av is or is not running? AV shows in my taskbar that it is running.

    CTRL+ALT+DEL brings up Task Manager.

    Look under Applications...should be listed there.

    Also look under Processes and look for an .exe file in the list that is associated with the Verizon AV...should be a fairly logical name.

    I agree with Lev, It could be that System Mechanic simply does not recongize your AntiVirus program
