Any body know how too Get a Complete Work history.

I am kinda getting tired of the job i am at.

I am trying to find how to get a Complete Work History i worked alot of place's in the past and i can not remember them all.

I was reading about the Social Security Office can do it.but i do not know what forums to fill out.

Would my Employer that i have now be able to get it.Sense i do work for a security companie. They have to do a FBI back round check and stuff like that.So i am clean lol.

Well it's not that i am getting tired but i am it's that its not paying enough.

Sad thing is i don't have a printer i do but the ink would be dried up bye now.Only used it once.Yes i saw that link be four.

    Printer Ink cost too much.

And says allow Four months for process witch i think is ridiculous wait time. For 15$

I am going to ask my current employer to see if they can get one for me.

I mean they are a security companie. They should have access to it id think.

Well, the only way to get one from the SSA is to print the form and mail it in. D'you have a friend who could print it for you? Or do it at work? Four months is actually pretty reasonable for the SSA. If you were applying for benefits your wait could be up to 18 months before you even got an appointment. Sad, but true. And $15 really isn't unreasonable, since they have something you want.

You probably could ask your current employer for a copy of your background check details, but I don't know how cooperative they would be since you want it in order to look for another job. ;)

Based on the HR training I received years ago, most employers will not share background checks or anything else in an employee's file. If a prospective employer contacts a previous employer, all the previous employer will state is (name) worked here from (month/year) to (month/year).

It all deals with the threat of litigation. If an employer states someone is "not eligible for rehire" or shares any negative information on the person's performance, they're opening themselves up to either a discrimination or slander lawsuit.

Previously when I applied to jobs, it stated that by signing, you are allowed to have a copy of a background check. So, if you request your employee file from a former employer, they may have to give you a copy.
