Any businesses on here

Hi and welcome to MGs.

Thank you for looking at the rules before posting. That is something most people can't be bothered to do before starting a thread. We do in fact have rules against advertising in posts in the forum.

There's a huge mix of people here from home users to paid techs. Other than a few software companies who come to help out in the forums with questions regarding their own software, I don't know of any 'businesses'. That doesn't mean there aren't any, just that I haven't noticed.

Hi Luke and Welcome to the forum, I echo Laura's comment on you reading the rules, so thank you for that.

To answer your question and personally I work for a UK Government dept as in the NHS and medical research, more so Ophthalmology and imaging/diagnostics. However I am also a Microsoft MVP in Windows so use my technology background in work and on the forum to help end users.

Majorgeeks members are from IT backgrounds as well as very knowledgeable home users who use their freetime to help others, its a great way to share the vast knowledge in many different areas of computing with all members.

We have members who have specialties in the likes of Linux to Networking and a superb core team that deal with malware.

I hope you can join in and share your IT knowledge with others, as its great to share
